I stumbled upon this lonely 1966 Chevrolet Corvair today in a vacant lot behind a fast food restaurant. The lot is being used by a car dealer for storage, and this one looks like it came from auction recently.
The red color looks good on it but it appears to have been light blue metallic originally. The quick and dirty paint job looks good from 20 feet but is pretty rough up close, check the photo of the 110 emblem if you don’t believe me. The cheesy AutoZone steering wheel doesn’t help, but can be easily fixed. It’s an automatic, but has the small 110 cubic inch four cylinder engine, so it is slow. It also does not appear to have factory A/C controls, so it’s a true base model coupe.
