(Note: I’m only posting Saturns this week due to the pending death of Saturn.) These guys are hard-core Saturn owners, with both the sedan and wagon.
I was wrong the other day, they didn’t quite make the 4-year cycle, it was actually 91-95. The 1996 model truly was “all new”. Except for the engine. And transmission. And suspension. The exterior design was changed radically, from door-stop wedge to jellybean. This design was virtually unchanged through 1999. Also, the S-series was still the ONLY Saturn through 1999, the L-series came out in 2000. When most people over 20 hear “Saturn” today, the S-series is the car they think of.
