O.K., I know all of you have been wondering (or maybe not) what is going on with this little blog. As some of you know I have a little side project going on that is taking every minute of my spare time, and also the work time that I was taking doing this little waste of time. Or maybe it’s just spring fever. Continue reading “SOTS Walkabout”
Well, not me. Watching racing. I was lucky enough to be given a pair of tickets to this weekend’s AMA Superbike race at Barber Motorsports Park. I get Paddock access also, which should be cool. I’m taking my son, he should enjoy it since he’s 13 and he’s started to get interested in cars and driving. I’ll post a few more pictures next week. Continue reading “Going Racing”
I guess I’ve got spring fever. Since I’ve been too lazy busy to write new stuff the past few days I thought this might be a good time to re-live the glory days of email S.O.T.S. before I started doing the blog. Back when my photography was even worse than it is now. Continue reading ““M-Team” Econoline”
Yep, another Honda Civic. By this point I had a long commute (for Montgomery) and needed something more reliable, fun to drive, and more “stealth” than the Miata, which I still had and drove mostly on weekends. Continue reading “Flashback Friday 15: 1988 Honda Civic DX”
O.K., so I missed yesterday. I was spending way too much time fiddling with the website for my 20th high school reunion. But today I will make it up to you with this wonderful 1978 Dodge Aspen stationwagon. Don’t you feel better already?

I had also made some improvements to the Miata and had it like I wanted it. But I had an itch to have another project, and I had some cash. I wanted another truck, and I knew what I wanted. Continue reading “Flashback Friday 14: Truckin’ Part 3”
No need to tell the history of this car. I shouldn’t even need to mention it’s name. But then again, most people only know it as a “De Lorean” which is only the brand name, not the model. It is actually a De Lorean DMC-12, but since this is the only model that De Lorean Motor Company built it is fine with me if you just call it a “De Lorean”. Continue reading “Back to the Future”
I haven’t seen one of these in a while, and since I took these photos I have seen 3 more. That always seems to happen when I find something for the site. After becoming an expert on Ford Tempos (five minutes on the Internet) I am amazed at what a huge seller this thing was. In it’s first year sales of the Tempo and it’s twin sister Mercury Topaz were 531,468. Continue reading “Gas Classic: 1984-94 Ford Tempo”
