I am going to plan ahead and start preparing for the end of the year, which of course means the “Seen on the Street Car of the Year”. Every single automotive publication and website has their own C.O.T.Y. (or it seems that way) so why shouldn’t “Seen on the Street“?
Of course you have to have criteria for a C.O.T.Y., right? So any vehicle that I post photos of that is so tacky and/or cool that it cannot be denied will qualify. These rules may change at any time, at my whim.
So here’s my first nominee. The lot at work continues to provide plenty of good stuff. When you have high turnover of second shift warehouse employees you are ensured of fresh metal every few weeks. This awesome custom ride first appeared about two weeks ago and thanks to the time change I was finally able to get daylight photos.
How can you deny that this is the coolest ride so far this year? Despite all the time and money put into the paint and body work apparently there is no more money left for maintenance. Notice the broken back door small window. And the puddle coming from behind the front wheel. There has been a puddle coming from out from under this car for several days, and I verified that it is oil. You might want to get that looked at, Bro.
Boys and girls, here is why it doesn’t make sense to spend over $2,000 on a set of rims and tires. They usually aren’t as strong as factory wheels, which means the first hard pothole or curb you hit will make them look like this.
