So you thought my photography was getting a little better? NOT! Actually this has more to do with it being a quick drive-by than a skill issue. Anyway, here’s a rare International Scout that is 1) mobile, 2) not covered (or perforated) with rust, and 3) an awesome 70’s color combo.
This light-blue color used to be everywhere in the 70’s, but mostly on trucks. Before the magic of clear coat was discovered, these things would quickly oxidize. Kids these days probably think that 70’s cars were painted with flat paint. Since it’s parked in front of Mr. Transmission I’ll assume that it will be kept on the road for quite a while longer. It should be, it’s all there, in good shape, and just needs some waxing and polishing (and wheels) to really look good.
