The Amigo was a shortened 2-door version of the Rodeo. It was made from 1990-93, then dropped for a few years, then brought back from 1998-2003. This one is an early version which were mostly 4WD and stick shift. An automatic transmission wasn’t even offered until 1993.
This one is in fair shape considering it is at least 15 years old and has probably been off-road numerous times. The crunched passenger rocker panel below is a pretty good sign it’s seen some abuse. Since the Rodeo used Chevy S-10 mechanicals they were pretty durable but things like alternators, water pumps, A/C compressors, etc. go out on a regular basis. An owner who doesn’t mind changing parts regularly can keep one of these running a long time.
